Dr. Lauren Zipes was born and raised in Long Island, New York. She attended the University of Hartford on academic scholarship and graduated cum laude with a Bachelors of Science. 

 

Dr. Zipes pursued her doctorate degree from Barry University School of Podiatric Medicine, where she graduated with honors. Dr. Zipes completed a competitive surgical residency program with an emphasis on wound care at Westchester General Hospital in Miami, Florida. During her final year of residency, Dr. Zipes was recognized as chief resident due to her high level of patient care and satifaction noted by her peers and attendings. Dr. Zipes has been in private practice in Margate Florida since 2013 and is currently on surgical staff at Northwest Medical Center.
